Comatrol proudly introduces a new range of modular HICs, developed to match 40 years of experience in HIC and cartridge design with today’s market request of compact and flexible solutions. Comatrol’s MVB10 system is designed for the electro-hydraulic control of mobile machines and offers performance up to 80 l/min inlet flow, up to 210 bar work pressure, rated according to the severe NFPA T2.6.1 endurance test. The modularity concept enables machine developers to create flexible hydraulic control solutions with standard components, ensuring the best speed to market is achieved with a high quality product.

System configuration guidelines

Every MVB assembly is composed of the following base parts:

-          An inlet section

-          One or more work sections;

-          An end plate.

Working sections have the following functions:

ü  On-off

ü  On-off with integrated Load Holding*

ü  Proportional compensated

ü  Proportional compensated with integrated Load Holding*

* Load Holding module hosts both counterbalance
   or pilot operated check valves

Configuration examples
Example 1: 3-function assembly for fixed displacement pump with 1 on-off directional controlled section, 1 proportional section, one proportional section with load holding function.  System is provided with a shut-off valve, a relief valve and a logic element to bypass excessive flow. Proportional sections are locally compensated.

MVB10-I-LS

This inlet section is designed to operate in systems based either
with fixed or variable displacement pump. With a fixed pump, a logic
element is provided to dump to tank the excess flow not used by the
work sections. With a variable displacement pump, the logic element
is replaced with a blocking cavity plug. It includes a main relief valve,
to limit the overall hydraulic pressure, and a dump valve, to require an
enabling electric signal to allow system operation.

This work section provides on-off directional control of a double acting
actuator.

This pressure compensated work section provides proportional
load-independent directional control of a double acting actuator.

This end plate section does not include any active components and
may be used for closing a MVB10 assembly while providing threaded
connections to the P, T and LS lines.

     

 

MVB10 is suitable for compensated or non-compensated,
on-off or proportional control.
MVB10 can provide LS signal in closed loop to a variable
displacement pump or can work in open loop with a compensator
integrated in inlet section.

MVB10 can accept an inlet flow up to 80 l/min, each work section
can handle up to 22 l/min @ full working pressure.
